Belgium isn’t only waffles, chocolate and beer; it is a beautiful small country with a lot of diversity, and has three official languages : French, in the southern part, Dutch, in the northern part, and German, in a small region in the East. There are a lot of cities, rich in history, and beautiful rural places. Belgian citizens are kind and open-minded, and the student life is really enjoyable. In this program, participants aged between 15 and 18 will be placed in the French speaking part, namely in Wallonia or in Brussels. They will be integrated into their local community and school, as well as live in a volunteer host family.
