Spend one year at Vejlefjordskolen (a Danish boarding high school), a cozy and personal school with a warm atmosphere and a variety of activities

In Denmark there is a special kind of boarding schools offering young people to complete high school in a ‘live-and-learn’ school. They offer an exciting and safe environment which provides young people with the opportunity to self develop, mature and to get new angles and inspiration regarding their future study and career.

Vejlefjordskolen is such a school. At our boarding school you will not get lost in the crowd because the school is small, cozy and personal and everyone gets to know each other quickly. You will find new friends because pupils live side by side with their class-mates 24/7 and teachers and staff-members live nearby. During your stay you will also be a part of our vibrant social life in the evenings and weekends.

You will receive intensive language lessons in Danish 3 hours per week during the whole school year. You will study along with Danish students and in that way have close contact to your Danish fellow students. At Vejlefjordskolen you will interact with the Danish language and before you know it you will be speaking it.

You don’t want to miss our student-trip and skiing tour. There will be high spirits and lots of fun.

The basic diet of Vejlefjordskolen is vegetarian with a healthy, tasty variety of high quality plant-based foods.

You will have a Danish contact family whom you will visit during holidays and some weekends.

Language Level needed upon arrival: Average English skills are necessary. All lessons will be conducted in Danish and the students will receive intensive Danish lessons during the first part of their stay.
