Γιατί να γίνετε μια Παγκόσμια Οικογένεια με την AFS;

Με 75 χρόνια εμπειρίας, η AFS είναι πρωτοπόρος στα προγράμματα ανταλλαγής μαθητών. Αυτό που την ξεχωρίζει είναι το ευρύ δίκτυο εθελοντών σε όλη την χώρα. Μεγαλώστε την οικογένειά σας!

Πολλές οικογένειες φιλοξενίας και μαθητές ανταλλαγής συναντιούνται κατά την διάρκεια του χρόνου σε εκδηλώσεις, εκδρομές και επισκέψεις που διοργανώνουν τα τοπικά παραρτήματα της AFS ώστε να αναπτυχθεί μία ζεστή κοινότητα. 

Οι οικογένειες φιλοξενίας δημιουργούν συχνά δυνατούς δεσμούς με τον μαθητή ανταλλαγής που διαρκούν και πέραν της λήξης του προγράμματος!

Η φιλοξενία μαθητών ανταλλαγής δεν ισοδυναμεί με δυσβάσταχτο κόστος

Οι υποχρεώσεις σας: Ως γονέας φιλοξενίας, καλείστε να παρέχετε στο μαθητή ανταλλαγής τα βασικά γεύματά του και τη μεταφορά του από και προς το σχολείο και τις εξωσχολικές του δραστηριότητες (όπου δεν υπάρχει δυνατότητα χρήσης Μέσων Μαζικής Μεταφοράς και η απόσταση είναι μεγάλη). Κι αυτό είναι όλο! Άλλα έξοδα όπως οικογενειακά ταξίδια, έξοδοι ή προσωπικά είδη του μαθητή είναι στην ευχέρειά σας αν θα τα καλύψετε κατά περίπτωση. 

Καλυμμένα έξοδα: Χρεώσεις όπως η επιπλέον ιατροφαρμακευτική κάλυψη, η εγγραφή σε εξωσχολικές δραστηριότητες και τα ταξιδιωτικά έξοδα καλύπτονται από την οικογένεια του μαθητή ή την υποτροφία του. 

Προσωπικά έξοδα: Ο μαθητής έχει τα δικά του χρήματα για τα προσωπικά του έξοδα όπως ρούχα, για συμμετοχή σε επιπλέον δραστηριότητες ή για οτιδήποτε άλλο του είναι αναγκαίο.
